when something happens. You hear something, see something, etc. You end up stuck back reliving the trauma or the memories and its just hitting you strong. You build up the nerve to talk to someone, try to get some of it out. Calm yourself down. Ease the soul, ya know. But when you make that step towards talking to someone, your blown off. Ignored. They run. They are tired of hearing about it.
I know what message i get out of it. I'd like to know what message you get if this happens to you. |

I'm sorry that happened to you. I've felt that way a number of times when I've talked about my trauma. I'm learning to be more careful about who I talk to because not everyone is a skilled listener. That's what I like about being here. |

![]() ![]() what i thought then :- First thing was that I should probably crawl back under the rock I came out from under! - how come I'm still healing when others are over it (but are they?)- How dumb I am - my T is wasting her time because I cant learn anthing., I should be over this, I am weak and pathetic to still be re-living this, I am worthless no wonder no-one loves me or cares for me - I dont' deserve to get better...... ![]() What I think now ![]() ![]() This is there problem not mine, it takes as long as it takes, we are all individuals and we all heal at different rates, feel different things, need different things, have past issues that affect our healing differently, they are going through their stuff and I am going through mine and I try not to make their stuff mine and say - ok I was talking to the wrong person about that - i will know better next time jmo - take care P7 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
