It's gone up...I normally get scores in the mid-40s, with the occasional score in the 50s, but this time I got 68. Yikes!

I don't know if it's just because I'm not feeling too great at the moment, or if this is a bad sign generally...Yikes!

Hi, I'm no expert but:

"Posttraumatic Stress 75"

If you do actually have PTSD ups and downs, good days/bad days etc are normal.

Yikes! and Yikes! to you. Yikes!

Well, you've been having all the stress with the food thefts and wanting to get back into therapy, etc. so I don't think there's much surprise there, Rio? And your PTSD was triggered recently by your friend wasn't it? Lots going on. I hope it all gets into a rhythm and calms down a bit for you.

Thanks, Kalamity_Jane. Yikes! I've never been diagnosed with PTSD, but I did get told I had some of the symptoms when I was in therapy. That's a good point about the good/bad days...I've never got a score higher than 58 on PTSD before now, though. Yikes!

Thanks, Perna. That's true, especially the therapy one - it's making me think about the bad things more, which isn't much fun. Yikes! The only thing I'd disagree with is this one:

Quote:
And your PTSD was triggered recently by your friend wasn't it?

While that was upsetting (fortunately, he doesn't seem to be quite so depressed at the moment, though), I reckon if I've been triggered by anything it's what happened at the campus in Illinois. Yikes! I tried to avoid it, but I forgot once when I was signing out of Yahoo mail that it automatically takes you to the news page...and it's been mentioned here a bit as well (not that I'm blaming anyone, it's impossible to avoid everyone's triggers). Yikes!

But that's all normal then, there are reasons for your score going up a bit and that's a good thing you noticed and are aware of what is going on with you.

Thanks, Perna. That's true...it was just a bit of a shock, I guess, I took the test slightly less than a month ago and only had 56. Yikes!
