Cam... some of your wisdom can be useful for any one who has a drug question... like a reminded they can research the individual drug/medication they have a question about by googling or yahooing the drug name and going to the manufacturer's website. Also, like the post with the link on going off anti-depressants..

So why not lock a post ( with the basics that you share) at the top of the forum???

I am not ready to commit my answers and the websites that I offer to a place where they can be misunderstood and misused, more readily tha they can be now.

I have thought of setting up a collection of some of my best bookmarks, but many of these sites need to be read with many caveats. Drug monographs are drug company propaganda (eg. drug monographs are simply: "lawyers' documents, written by lawyers for lawyers ; nothing more). Even in the most respect of scientific journals, one needs to know how to read them, in order to figure out what the article is "REALLY" saying. This is not something that can be easily taught, but comes from years of pouring over articles to determine what is written and what is really being said.

Therefore, I'd rather not share most of my bookmarks outright; and those that I post, I'd rather have them remain semi-hidden, to reduce the risk of the being used in unintended and misinterpreted way. I have had this happen on another site that I used to frequent, but became very disillusioned with.
