i've been on zoloft 100mg now for 3 months for panic disorder and depression.
It's helped a lot with my social anxiety but latley i've been having unpleasant thoughts when i'm alone so for the past month i've contantly been staying at other houses so i don't have to be alone. It scares me because my life has done a complete turn around from hating being around people to hate being alone. it this a side effect anyone has had on zoloft
it gets so irratating trying medcine to "fix" me and it just pisses me off that i can't feel comfortable with myself no matter what i do.

(((( hugs )))) - Some times we as humans just go through different needs with in life and well we often want the opposite of what we already have - does that sound familiar? I figure that might extend from - we don't know what we have until we got it and then once we have it we find out that it is not all that our minds made it out to be - hmm.

When I took Zoloft many years back for depression and anxiety.... the doctors found that I also needed other medicine to counteract my own inner disturbances that were occurring..... one medicine was not enough.

In the end..... one must work on their WOUNDS and HEAL them or learn to COPE with them to enable the PeAcE and Comfort you are now seeking.

I cannot recall when I was on Zoloft whether or not I had thoughts like you are describing, back then I might have because I didn't have any coping methods. However I was on it for 8 years so it must have been working somewhat.

All you can do really is see how you feel, if you are still worried about it discuss it with your doctor or pharamcist.
