I am taking 200 mg lamictal and 60 mg cymbalta.
I am not sure why I am on both of these @ the same time. Lamictal is for bp2, cymbalta is for ??? Just wanted to know if anyone else takes these meds together too and what their "DX" is ?

Cymbalta is an antidepressant, it works on both serotonin and norepinephrine. (Helps with physical pain also). Lamictal is a mood stabilizer for the bipolar. I was on that combo for a while and it helped. I am currently on an antidepressant and mood stabilizer combo for bipolar with severe depressive episodes.

I don't see why they are both necessary for me. I thought it was an odd combo. But, I guess it happens. Thanks for the input.
