I have an appt with my pdoc in 2wk and I've been on this med for nearly 15yr and we just upped it to 1750mg a night and I've gained 10lbs to boot. Anyone with experience? I also take 10mg Lexapro and 15 mg abilify and 1 to .5mg of Klopin. Considered Bi-polar Schzioaffective Addict
 I'm having terrible rapid cycling and bouts of severe depression with mania usually within the same day. Anyone experience Seroquel & Lamictal?? I'd like advice on what to read up on in the internet concerning best options for my body type. Had 10yr Hadol, can't tolerate Tegertol or Lithium anymore. |

Welcome to PC.......and have you tried Geodon? I am also on Lexapro and Abilify and Geodon and the three have stabilized me for the past year. I was in bad shape before I got on these meds.......so ask your doc about it.

I take Abilify, Lamictal & Trazadone to sleep (just started on that due to a hypo manic episode that ended badly--was taking Xanax at night, but it didn't knock me out enough). Concerta & Provigil to help with excessive daytime sleepiness. Was stable for 4 1/2 yrs. before I had a relapse so I think they are pretty good.--Suzy
P.S. Everyone is different. I couldn't take Geodon due to dizziness & extreme sleepiness (falling asleep while driving), but I have some friends who do great on it! |

Ask your doc about Lamictal, Topamax, or Trileptal.
