Is there any cross-over in the neurotransmitters that effexor and zoloft influence? Doesn't effexor essentially do what the zoloft does?

hi,
you may want to research on the web. but i believe while zolofot calms a person, effexor boosts energy. i could not stay on effexor; it made me to jumpy.

zoloft works on serotonin, and effexor on serotonin, norepinephrine and maybe dopamine at high doses, so they are quite different especially once you get over 75 mg qd.
