Pdoc made more changes, again. He said to take another dose of seroquel right atr the moment so it would help the emotions being everywhere and help me keep it together, out of the hospital, etc. I told him about wanting to cut and od and stuff. He's taking me off the effexor even faster so I should be done that by next week. So it's still pretty rocky but, I guess I shouldn't expect anything else really.

At least he's responding to what's going on with you and making the appropriate changes. Unfortunately with psych meds it's such a trial and error thing, it can get really frustrating.

Better than my pdoc... I tell him, "I'm cutting almost every tonight and have suicidal ideation," and he says, "Ok. Let's keep things the same for now." Hmmmm... That's why I have an appt. with a new pdoc next month.

Good luck with your meds.

Wow, that's really scarry, and screwed up he shouldn't be allowed to practice! Plus it screams liability; you think he would atleast care about being sued despite that he could give a care about his patients! Things like this just infuriate me! But Please, take care of youself. I know it's hard, I've been there eventhough on the cutting hting Ive been able to control it for the most part I am right there with you on the whole suicide issue. But I've had it both ways docs saying I need to be hospitalized and other times o u wouldn't really do that; o ur gonna hurt me? I'm faster than u.... NO JOKE; for real. messed up. I wish u the best. Many hugs. Hang in there. And I hope ur new pdoc turns out to be a good one for u.

I'm actually kind of surprised that inpatient treatment isn't recommended for consistent self-injury and suicidal ideation. With the self-injury, you could accidentally kill yourself!

Stay strong and hopefully the meds can help some.

hang in there while the effexor gets out of your system. Does your pdoc have a longterm plan for you? Stay safe and keep us posted on how you are doing.
