I have borderline personality and get a little paranoid. Take Lamictal but also need an antipsychotic. Tried Abilify and felt woozy with that itchy anxiety moving problem to boot. Even felt like barfing one morning. So, last week I switched to Serequel--flat out on my back with just 50 mg. It took two days to get it out of my system. Big fog, bumping into things, running to the bed, thick tongue, drink, drink, drink. Took Geodon once and thought I was having a heart attack. Any suggestions before I call pdoc? Maybe try to make it on Lamictal alone? Don't know if it will help paranoid and sometimes Lamictal makes me high, High, HIGH? Just another day of fun.

How are you taking various meds/switching so quickly and taking different amounts without pdoc being involved? I would think that could cause problems of its own. Did you try risperidone/Risperdal?

Most antipsychotics can be pretty nasty. I would call your pdoc before making any changes or stopping any drug, but I am wondering-- where is your paranoia coming from? Meaning, it is an anxiety paranoia or a psychotic paranoia? I have paranoia but it is manifested in anxiety-- meaning that I know my fears are irrational. I am completely aware that the things I am paranoid about are most likely not true. If it is paranoia rooted in psychoses, then you don't realize that your fears are irrational. Taking an antipsychotic is not something that would necessarily help with the anxiety type. That's definitely more of a therapy issue. Do you see a therapist?
