i've been on it for about a month and a half. i've taken it religiously. i haven't missed ONE dose, and i am consistent with times.

until recently, when my anxious and depressive symptoms peaked, i didn't even drink or do any other substance with my zoloft.

but, after three weeks, my mood swings are back. i'm feeling very anxious now.

has anyone else had this reaction? how long did it last? did another medication work better?

Zoloft worked for me for 8 years, and anxiety, mood swings ect are or can be side effects of Zoloft. You did the right thing however with not drinking while on medication. Even though alot of people do it it's still not a good idea because whatever you drink triples.

You've only been on Zoloft for 3 weeks you said? Give it another 3 weeks, doctors usually tell someone to stay on the medication for the reccomended time which is 6 weeks, your side effects should let up as mine did when I was on Zoloft.

What you are feeling should pass, and if not after the 6 weeks then tell your doctor about it. Good luck.
