I kinda posted a similar post already today..

So this morning I went to my session. First she was asking about the numbing of the face etc. Told her it was gone for now...

She asked me how the anxiety was, I Said [censored].
Told her that heat triggers anxiety for me.. she said this is true because as an anxiety symptom a person will usually get hot flashes etc, my brain is just connected to heat and associating it with Anxiety.
Does that make sense?

Anyways moving along... she wants me to do blood work. Check stuff out, thyroid etc... forget what else. Also she reccomends that I re-read the book Don't Panic which I am going to do...and she wants me to start doing yoga and breathing tecniques since my anxiety has been getting out of hand. Like it did last night for example, I wrote about it in the anxiety thread.

Also she is keeping me on Remeron 45mg for the time being, until after the weekend and if my mood is still the same and it doesn't seem to be working then she told me she will put me up to the max dose for this drug which is 60mg, only for the most 5 days... because sometimes with medication your liver will kinda spit out the drugs, and therefore you aren't getting the full effect of it, she thinks that could be a reason.. but we'll see if my mood changes if I go up to 60mg.

After that she is going to ween me off Remeron and put me on Effexor... she thinks that will be the best route because it acts as both an SSRI and..... ___? Can't remember .. maybe an AD? Anyways, it's a combo drug.... half SSRI and half the line I can't remember... she said it'll help my depression and do wonders for my anxiety.... so going to keep my fingers crossed.

She still wants me to continue with the lightbox, but I purpously left it at home for the next 4 days because it's a ***** and a half to drag around... it's so big.

I'm also suffering with SAD, mild depression, for once the anxiety rules over depression..

Who'd have thunk it.

Anyways that's my little update for now.
