<font color="blue"> Well it's offical that I will be starting to go on Effexor XR starting next weekend, as long as the weening off Remeron goes smoothly.
My psychiarist said that I could get more depressed when I start to lower the doses. Because even though the Remeron hasn't helped with my anxiety its been helping with my depression. If I am still getting flu like symptoms from weening then I need to phone her. Also she said coming off the Remeron I could loose some weight, which isn't a bad thing. Probelm is she didn't get me a perscription for the Effexor... I didn't even get my full 45mins today, she was really late which pissed me off, but she had an emergency with one of her paitents, figures that happens during my appt, that's the second time that's happened. So I don't know, I guess I will have to phone her this week and get her to phone in the Effexor? </font>

<font color="purple">Not feeling good day, came down to 30mg last night and now i'm not feeling good today at all.
I thought that once I got some breakfast in me i'd be feeling better. My stomache is upset/nauseated. I'm more depressed, crying off and on. Hot flashes. Anxiety off and on. Why would the withdrawal hit me so soon? I've been on 30mg before. </font>

<font color="purple">I'm still on 30mg, going to be on 30mg for another night, and see how I feel in the morning, hopefully not like crap, otherwise I don't know when i'll be able to go down to 15mg and then off Remeron and onto Effexor. Psychiatrist told me to wait until my flu-like symptoms are gone.
But tonight depression is showing it's ugly head. Been warned that it would happen once I start to lower my remeron. I wonder how crappy i'll be on 15mg?  </font>

<font color="purple">I am feeling terrible today. I thought at first that this is great I don't feel too bad this morning, after dropping down last nite to 15mg.
Now I feel like total *****. My stomache is upset/nauseated. I just can't concentrate that well. I feel terrible...  I have a headache and I don't know if it's part of the withdrawal or just a headache....I didn't get one when I dropped from 45mg to 30mg. Argh.... </font>
