I've just been put on a new antipsychotic that is supposed to NOT cause weight gain! WOO WOO!
Its keeping me wired though. I keep waking up at 5am.
Gah.
Anyone on it?
Its called Ziprasidone.

Yes Ma'm, known as Geodon. I never gained any weight or had side effects. Maybe taking it a little later will help you. Make sure you tell your doctor next time of any issues!

Wired on Geodon!! Wow, it knocked me out so badly that I fell asleep while driving & only woke up when I heard my wheels hitting the gravel on the shoulder. Could only do 4 days on Geodon--extreme dizziness, too. Not really a new med. I think I tried it about 6 years ago. Hope it works for you. For many people it is great--just not for me!!--Suzy

Things are going well. Woke up at like 4am though! lol.
I feel fine...No voices or hallucinations. :-)

I take Geodon. Works wonders for all my psychosis...es..? lol
And so far, it's great for my insomnia ...

Geodon made me hypo-manic, couldn't sleep.....then I read about that tartive whatever that can happen, and stopped taking it. I am not on any "mood/anit-depressants drugs" at the moment..just my Adderall and Xanax
