I read somewhere that SSRI's like Paxil and Zoloft can cause sodium and potassium electrolyte imbalances. I've been feeling very weak, dehydrated and light headed recently so I was just wondering if this could be what I am experiencing.
I should also mention that up to a month ago I was frequently binging and purging so I dont know if this is what is causing it, though I have not purged in a month. I am really concerned about this and just wondering if anyone can help me out.

SSRIs are associated with a syndrome called SIADH (Syndrome of Inappropriate AntiDiuretic Hormone), which causes low blood sodium. Risk factors are low body weight and being elderly. The incidence is rather low, but it can be quite serious. I suggest you see a doctor for a proper workup.

Is there a way to reverse this aversive side effect?
