Your dreams are so interesting. In one T hurts himself (careless T!) and in another T is injured, but left with 'a leg to stand on'. He underestimates his own injuries.
I know you love T.
But I wonder if you aren't also angry that this happened, as if he was careless and his carelessness resulted in your care being affected.

I wonder if he will still be on pain meds. It's got me thinking what therapy would be like if T was wonky on pain meds.
Might be fun.

for you and for T. Hoping him a speedy recovery! I'm sure he will love the bread you are baking for him!!

Let us know how you are doing and how T is after you see him today, if you want to share that.

You know we're here for you, spiraly and all....

I do hope you are able to talk to T soon, so you can come to some peace with this. Waiting is so hard. I know that I get very spiraly when I am anxiously waiting for something. It's extremely difficult to stop the spiraling from happening....

Please do update when you hear from T.

And in the meantime, keep posting.....

You know, I don't think I'm angry. I am always willing to believe I *might* be angry at T, for sure ...but that doesn't feel right this time.

I just e-mailed him and asked if he is back at work today if we can connect on the phone for a couple of minutes.

Something that is difficult for me is that T CLEARLY changes the boundaries when he is hurt. It happened before when he hurt his back. He is very open with me usually, and it's like he pulls in and gets really secretive. I totally get it...being hurt is kind of triggery, and I am sure that he wants to just take care of himself. I tend to pull in and shut down when I get hurt too...it's just a vulnerable thing to be hurt. BUT! I do wish that he would just say "I sprained my ankle" or "I got some stitches" or whatever. I am pretty positive that in the end he will tell me exactly what happened, so I wish he could just do that up front instead of giving me just enough information to spiral out, you know?

Anyhow, I really hope he is feeling better and I really hope we can connect today.

He may just be sore. There may not be any specific injury at all. Sometimes after a wreck people are just sore from having tensed up. They fill like they've . . . well . . .been hit by a truck.
