Deli - can you start a separate journal and put what you said in it about how he looked at you that way and what you felt? I think when you are hit with the hard times, you can look back at it and go "Oh yeah!" because this is so awesome. In fact, I think I am going to do that with my T now too!
Thanks for this!

thank you, everyone. yes, it does feel good to have pdoc be beside me in this. i told my housemate about it yesterday and she just gave me this weird look, and i realised not everyone gets therapy, oops.

all the nice things that pdoc and austin-t do for me - she just dismisses them and says "but are they actually helping you?". i should probably stop talking to her about it.

wepow - that's a good idea. i used to have something on my old computer, but i dont know if it got transferred over to my new one.
Thanks for this!

Deli, I was telling my T once about my family who keeps saying all I need is medication, and it's even less expensive than that therapy thing. And my T laughed a little and waved her hand and said, 'Oh, families don't "get" therapy'.

I'm sorry your housemate is one who doesn't know how important therapy is and what it is really like. It is hard to try to share a good therapy experience with someone who doesn't get it and doesn't want to get it, in some cases.

But we get it and we are happy for you!

Deli, I'm glad you have some relief in the form of sleep and such a supportive connection with pdoc. I love the idea of keeping track of the supportive moments to go back to and review when everything seems so insurrmountable. I think I'll use it, too.
