It is an absolute fact that you can't control when people are here, what they read, and if they have a response to offer.

I hope you can find a way to go if you want to, or not go if that's what you want to do. Or, go for a brief time, long enough to wish your grandmother a happy 95th birthday.

Hi, Granite--not sure what's going on...something isn't showing up in my postings records, or something? But, I'm glad you are here--and I'm glad for all the others. I'm grateful that there are other voices, other souls, all wanting to connect...and here we all are, and here I hope you stay.

granite,

I read your post and was going to reply but I wasn't sure what to say that would be helpful. So I thought too long, then had to go out, and didn't get back to posting until later.

So, did you go and wish your grandmother a happy birthday? I would have suggested going even if you didn't want to. 95 year olds don't always live too long. I'm sorry that all your relatives, you think, would talk about you. I didn't know what to say about that. It is sad.

Is that what happened or didn't you go? I wish you didn't have such bad experiences with your family. Something to talk about or write about in therapy, maybe?

You aren't overstaying your welcome here. Not in my opinion, and I'm sure not anyone else's either.

Good luck with your session tomorrow. I'm sure it will be all right even if you didn't do much with your homework.

(((Granite))) - I hope you are feeling a little bit better since your post? Please let us know how you are doing. - Ok? And never hesitate to post on PC. I know I feel like I'm burdening others at times but we have to remind ourselves that we also contribute and share with others to help others in the process.

I don't know what being a 'nudge' means. But it sounds bad. And you are not bad. So stop talking about yourself that way!!! You are always so hard on yourself. Please be gentle with yourself. You are not the rock you named yourself after. You can not keep taking poundings over and over again. Instead you are kind and loving and have soft spots. These all are good things. Please take care of yourself and let us help you.
