Right now I'm struggling to just breathe and I wish I could hear my T's voice for some reassurance, because I don't know what to do anymore. I called the mental health center and they're closed now so my T's gone for the weekend and I'm falling apart. I called the emergency number and talked to one of the therapist who is on call, and she helped me come up with a few things to keeps myself distracted tonight. But it was frustrating because she obviously was busy at the moment because I could hear her kids screaming in the background. I'm just a mess right now and I'm feeling so alone and I wish my T was here to help me. I don't see her again until Wednesday and I'm feeling so overwhelmed and alone, I don't know what to do.

(((((((Dani)))))))) Ugggs... So your T doesn't work on Friday? That is rough to feel this way and not be able to contact T.
Do you have something T gave you that you could hold right now? Or could you draw T a picture or write a poem just for T? Big hugs!! |

Unfortunately she only works Monday-Thursday. The only thing that I do have that T gave me is an index card that she wrote all of my accomplishments. I should get that out and just hold it in my hands and read it over and over to remind me how far I've come.

Dani, ahhhh. Well that is rough. I think that getting out your index card is a GREAT idea! And you could make one as well that was from your point of view - what you feel are your own accomplishments :-)

I'm so anxious right now I feel like my mind is going a million miles a minute. I left a voicemail for my T but I doubt she'll get it until next week. I don't know what else to do at this point. I might call the emergency line again because she said I could call back if I need to. I don't know if I can go to sleep tonight.

I'm sorry you're feeling so bad now. Do you know why you're so anxious? I know it won't help for right now, but do you think your T would make you a tape of her voice to listen to for times like these in the future? Can you visualize being with her, hearing her voice, and feeling calmer? I hope the time passes quickly for you. Yes, call the emergency line if you need to! Hope you were able to get some sleep. Do you think you may have been picking up on the quake that happened? I do that and on big quake days tend to have a lot of emotional trouble. They say animans are able to sense things this way and it makes them nerveous. BIG hugs for you!
