Not avoidance at all. Going off and having fun is great self care. Enjoy yourself.

I think it is great that you are planning a trip with your friends. It is especially great that you can plan it for when your T is going to be gone. You know, early psychoannalists used to require their clients to take their vacations at the same time they did.

I love the finger lakes region! I don't know where you're from -- are you familiar with the area? I haven't done the wine tours but my daughter went to college in Geneva so I was in that area many times. If you want to do something in addition to the wine tours (assuming you like outlet shopping) there are like 100 outlet stores just off the NYS Thruway in Waterloo, pretty much right between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes.
Hope you have fun, Granite! |
