And I think I'm a privileged snot to be able to go whine about what happened when I was 11. I think that's why I'm kind of glad (sometimes) that I have a challenging t right now. Going to therapy is hard too, like you said... and sometimes it can lead me to treat other people better, I think, or at least when I was in couples t it did. Sometimes knowing I could learn to be better for other people helps me justify going to t and not feeling selfish for it. |
