Therapy is definitely not all about drudgery. I've been seeing my therapist for some time now and had recently dropped back to twice a month for sessions.

It's been fine, and a great chance to put to use all the tools that I've learned with him.

I saw him after a three week absence this week. It was just a happy time for both of us.

He clearly was happy to see me, and I him. There was just a shared warmth there.

We talked about some issues and how I was handling them. Life's stressors. He was interested of course, but I'm okay.

I was wearing a piece of jewelry that a friend had made me, he was very interested in it and I let him touch it while it was still around my neck. (THAT'S A HUGE THING). I was totally okay with that.

It's nice to feel that warmth. It's nice to be able to translate that to others.

Therapy is a good thing. Just keep talking and try to realize that all the insecurities, hate, anger and ugliness will pass.

Then you'll have a person sitting across from you that knows you, likes you and has always always been rooting for you to get better - doing their dead level best to help.

Just sayin' - hang in there.

Yeah, it's great when we have those moments. I did just this week - the whole session was about happy stuff. Sharing the good with someone is such a treat.

Maybe a nice, classy strand of pearls would have done the trick for you Byz, perhaps a nice emerald pendant.....

I do wonder though (and I really am of two minds on this) Is sarcasm the lowest form of humor, or the highest form of wit - even above the pun.
