So I have T tomorrow. I've been having a small problem that I posted about a couple days ago. It's about some obsessive, intrusive thoughts about death and dying, as well as sui that have been slowly intensifying the last week and a half or so. Part doesnt want to say anything...I fear her reaction mostly because I dont want to end up in the hospital. Though that would probably be a bit extreme. And I know there is nothing to fear and that she will help me through. I just dont even know how to bring this up without feeling all awkward about it. But I have to or it will for sure only get worse. You dont have to respond...just getting nerves out.
Thanks for this!

Hi Melisssad, I can really relate to what you describe. I hope you find a way of being able to share this with T, it is a hard thing to be dealing with on your own. I couldn't tell my T everything, but I emailed the samaritans and could just let out all the stuff that was in my head. They responded and were brilliant. I think sharing with T is best if you can though. Could you write it down for T? Take care, Soup

Seconding the samaritans! That's a great idea. They are really helpful although the email takes a while for them to respond.

Im going to tell her. It was never really an option not to. I trust her completely...she has been through so much with me...she's proven herself...though she didnt really need to at all. She is good and whatever we decide to do with this I will do it. I have been dealing with these long before therapy just nowthat i am getting better I get scared. I think I have come up with a way to bring it up less directly initially but alot of times I just spill it.
