Hey, Melissa,

Know EXACTLY how you feel. Oh, yeah. Big time. As they say, been there, done that. What I write here isn't going to make the misery and the frustration go away. But think about this: However long it takes, whenever you've had time to calm down, to have the hurt and pain die away, think again about your choices. And their consequences. You may well choose at that time to continue in your life untreated, without a T and without meds. And that can be all well and good. More power to you.

But if at that time you wonder whether you can really make it on your own, whether your personal problems are more than the average person's, whether you do in fact need professional help, then don't burn your bridges behind you now. Everyone has the right to change their mind and strike out on their own if that's what they choose to do. If that's what they think is right for them. But when the time comes for you to make that decision, don't shoot yourself in the foot by already having deleted the possibility of returning to T and to meds. Keep all your options open! And take care.

No judgment, only you know if therapy and/or meds are helping you or not, but I hope you won't give up on trying to get/feel better, you deserve to be happy... these things are often trial and error - I don't know if there's any set 'cure', but there are always more meds, more methods of therapy, all sorts of things you could try that might work for you. I know it can get frustrating, but please don't lose hope.

I dont know of any places like that but I feel your pain. I quit everything last summer and it didnt work out too well for me. I hope you find an answer that will make you feel at least a little better so you can cope somewhat. thinking of you.

you might give this a try. They have a lot of programs that help in different ways. It is a dot org, no insurance is involved. Good luck! let us know how you go

In the end it is your choice.... if your current approach is not working... and is not working on long term, then I guess it is time to move on and try something different. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results... is not.... wise...

Good luck and be well.

Just be wise about how you do it Melissa, don't go cold turkey. Taper your meds down and maybe make a T appt for a month or two down the road just in case you need it, you can always cancel it if you're ok. Good luck.

I cant keep doing thing...good for a few months and crash, good for a few months then crash, and good for few month then start going down hill. Something has to change!!!!!!
