Pardon?
I drink very rarely and very little when I do. I may like scotch but I despise being out of control.
Successful cavalier deflection requires one's faculties to be intact.

Aaaaand...now my husband comes home. Apparently he went to work not feeling well and the big boss came in and caught him dozing off. This is not a good thing for a 911 telecommunicator. He'll probably get written up.

Thanks for the invitation. I hate weddings. I find them depressing and oddly embarrassing. Sometimes they are too personal for my tastes.

Coming down with a nasty cold. So I'll just stay off the couch and bring my own seating and move my chair on the other wall and away from the couch. Hi! I'm over here!

TTGB - I hope your cold doesn't last too long and you feel better soon so you can come back and join us on the couch.

Waiting for T, apparently she had a raccoon incident this morning and so she is running late. I couldn't help from laughing when she emailed me. I think she used the word vicious raccoon lol
Thanks for this!

TTGB...hope you feel better today! Nellie...enjoy your lunch out and your brain-dead evening. Sometimes we need that!! TKD...vicious raccoon incident?

H's boss emailed him back and said he'd probably receive a "coaching form" for falling asleep. He actually expressed concern for my H's health considering he's missed 7 days of work so far this year. I think he's heading toward burnout. I told H I'd ask T next session if she'd see him once with me to see if he's burned out. H said he's never been burned out before and doesn't know if that's what he's experiencing.

We plan to have a good day today. I'm off work. We plan to go into town, run some errands, get together with some friends this afternoon and grill out. Hopefully, a good time shall be had by all!

Have a great day/evening everyone!

Omg the racoon thing was hilarious, I couldn't keep a straight face. Apparently her garage door is broken and racoons have moved into the rafters. She found one this morning on the hood of her car and didn't know what to do and so she was held "hostage" till it finally left.

It sounds like your H's boss is genuinely concerned for your H versus just disiplining him for falling a sleep. Hopefully your H can get some help if needed.

Sounds like you have an awesome day planned out, enjoy it!

I'm here. I want to play too! Here comes my pillow. Sorry, no feathers please. I'm allergic. Sneeze, sneeze. I've got to go to sleep soon, though. So it will be a quick fight on my end.
