Having a very lazy day at home. I did manage to call my parents. I was shocked by the news I got. After 65 years of severe depression, my mother agreed to start Prozac 3 weeks ago! She sounded like a different woman...a happy one!!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

I'd much rather have that in my head. I've had that Alouette song from the Target commercial stuck in my head for about two weeks.

And just when it's out of my head...the commercial comes back on. I gave up on trying to understand the song - apart from understanding that it's probably selling colorful merchandise at Target.

The overture to candide or the rest of the operetta? How old are the kids? It is a little racy for young ones.

I don't remember seals in Candide. Must go reread it. In english though. I don't know french. I have been playing the operetta a lot recently. I have moved on to The Pirates Of Penzance. With catlike tread and all.

Oh. Now hankster is going to question my reading skills. I have not heard or seen the target commercial. I imagine target commercials are not too racy even for small children. Candide on the other hand...

I saw it with the cute guy from WKRP in Cincinnati (singing the lead, not as my date!) at Circle in the Square in the 80's.

Nah, the cute one was the one who was the stoner. Can't remember his name but jeesh, I loved that guy! Glad to see that others remember the old shows!

The cute one was the woman who was not lonnie anderson.

The best production of the Mikado I have ever seen was done by a canadian opera company in the 80's.

Bailey! I really wanted to name my daughter Bailey after that character, but my husband vetoed it. Stupid husbands ruin everything.

Bailey Quarters. I named a cat after her. But only because I liked the name!

(Pause)
Me: "Doc, why are you banging your head against the arm of your chair?"
Doc: "Because I'm not close enough to a wall."

It's official. I can even make therapists crazy.
