Today is Walpurgis, which is a half-holiday because tomorrow is May Day which is a bank holiday - and in my home town, Walpurgis is also a kind of de facto holiday, at least for everybody who has anything to do with the university. It's traditionally seen as the first day of spring, and in the evening, large bonfires are lit. I have a lot of silly emotional baggage surrounding Walpurgis, and will be staying home all morning, but this afternoon I've been invited to a colleague's place for a barbecue. I'm looking forward to that. I hope I'll be able to relax and be normal-sociable Apteryx, rather than quiet-in-a-corner Apteryx or talking-too-much-taking-up-too-much-space Apteryx.

I'm in sunny Sweden - Walpurgis is celebrated all over the Nordic countries, though. We have such long, dark winters that when the light finally returns, and with a vengeance, many people feel like celebrating.

LC - sorry ur having issues with your relationship, hopefully you can reconcile if that's what you want.

Apteryx - enjoy the BBQ. Just relax and I'm sure you will be fine.

I'm up early this Monday morning getting my butt kicked by my physiotherapist.

Count Chocula sounds really good right about now. I am working from home today. So far I've sent three emails...that counts, right?

I'm writing thank you notes to the people who came to my mother's funeral. It's harder than I expected it to be. But I've been procrastinating long enough.

May be getting divorce and driving thru multiple states starting in east Texas to,couch surf in SE michigan and look for a job, or take one in ohio...anyone in those area? PM me ....ladies ladies, no rush. Really plenty of Lola to go around now, ive got a way with words, dont know what it is ... Feminine women only , prefer straight or bi or curious NOT in a relationship, love kids and not against other lesbians as long as you know i am, a soft Leo butch, 38 and middle class, educated. flirt with me... 18 and older only women , if you are a man you must be willing to be a 3rd party in the scenario and take direction. Any Bi men or transexuals on board? Can move to another chat medium to communicate without flash and in private i will research...have camera? Im telling T all aout this via email... He said he thinks about me ocassionally , i asked. He has dodged the, " am i pretty" question twice and he is honest, he also dodged the fat question , hes good. We agreeded on a handshake tomorrow, i make email for a hug, then a lapsit...just to see if he gets a boner.... Weird huh, i cant tell him that... As soon as my soon to be xwife goes to bed ... Im emailing.

LC - I say this with some concern - are you drinking and emailing? If so, it is a bad plan. I am sorry about your relationship.

Don't get impaired and email. It is not a good plan. If you need to get impaired, fine. If you need to write - do so here. But emailing a therapist while hurting and impaired usually does not end well.
