glad you are having a good morning LC, I woke up to some flurries this morning... went back to bed and just getting up now. I thought spring was finally here, i guess there is a bit of winter left...
I have got a few cozy blankets with me on the couch, feel free to grab one.

No need Carla although i do appreciate the offer. Its 80 here, thinking about planting a tree today. I love snow.... Grew up in Michigan, I'd build a fire and pop in "When Harry met Sally", snuggle up and dream of Christmas... Have a great afternoon.

I ran my first 5K this morning, and weirdly enough had huge amounts of energy all day. Cleaned my bathroom and kitchen and then went shopping and to a movie with my daughter.

Does whiplash really exist? I thought it was a legal fiction! A lawyer's disease, in fact.

That's because insurance companies have WAY more money to hire lobbyists and liars like Rush Limbaugh than lawyers do. Whiplash is real and very painful.

According to other sites, although now it is mostly associated with car accidents, it used to be associated with railroad accidents.

I have popcorn and a couple of really sleepy cats, including one 6 month old kitten.

I've been on the couch all day and have accomplished exactly nothing. Grief is weird. And it sucks.
Thanks for this!

So after the pizza I made frosting and ate it on graham crackers. I feel like a college student... time for me to leave the couch and go on a walk for a while...

Have you never been in a car accident? This one wasn't so bad, but about 3 years ago, I was stopped at a light, and this very old man in a brand new mustang plowed into me from behind. The rear impact was so bad, it busted out my rear side windows. I flew forward and snapped back so hard, I broke off the seat back. This man was way too old to handle a new mustang. He died during my claim--not from any accident injuries but from old age. Now, the whiplash I experienced in that case was so bad I could barely move my head at all. Unfortunately, for me, it is definitely real, CantExplain.

Side note on that other accident 3 yrs ago: I'm in a total daze after the accident. Everything in my car has been tossed around, so I can't find a pen or piece of paper to get the other guy's info. There's this homeless guy standing there with his cardboard sign, and I ask if he has a pen I can use. He gives me a pen and a corner of his sign to write on. I give him $10 in thanks. This guy gets very excited and says, "I told God long ago that I would always help someone in need--even if it was something as simple as helping them put a tampon in. " I said, "Thanks, I just need a pen, " and I carefully edged away.
Thanks for this!

Right? It was so close to being a heartwarming experience, but then it just tromped right on down Creepy Lane.

Sorry to hear you're in that spot. The self-medication is understandable but not conducive to making good decisions. You need all your cylinders firing right now.
