It's 6am here. I just got back from a run- it's freaking cold out there. I had to wear my ice studded shoes and run through shin deep snow. Now the dog and coffee are warming me up before work.

I could marry coffee. It's a complicated relationship- bitter sometimes, dark and deep others- but it's my one stability. I wonder if this state allows human-coffee marriage. If any state did, it would be this one.

I'm at work procrastinating actually working as usual. I actually have tons to do, as after this week I'm off for a few weeks for knee surgery. I have T tomorrow morning, which is so not helping my productivity.

Seeing as I'm still procrastinating working, a drive sounds good. I call shotgun!

Thanks I'm in the waiting room. I'll never get used to a large practice vs old T who worked alone. Here goes nothing!

Yes I believe it did, I am still processing, it is so different then xT. You would like it, very clinical... Like a disection. No test results yet but we did talk about a few things he found. Thanks for asking.

On another note .. Question to all.... What's lined up for entertainment this evening?

I'm thinking hot bath, and dance moms!

Yes. Dance Moms is an excellent option when I want to be reassured of my own sanity.

Dance Moms is a reality/documentary-ish sort of show about a dance teacher and a few of her students and the students' parents. It's so, so wrong! The dance teacher is train-wreck awful, as are some of the moms.

In a word, fantastic!

OMG a work committee meeting that started 30 minutes late and ran two freaking hours!!!!! Four new members (one of which was 30 minutes late) and training my replacement to run the meeting. The new people were asking 30 million questions, my BFF was also 30 minutes late AND brought her kids (who are loud). My H was there because we were going out to eat afterward with two friends who joined the committee and he was stuck babysitting. Chaos.

It felt like this: All at once.

I could hardly talk at dinner. I am so freaking tired...and dreading session tomorrow (if I have session...they didn't call and remind me...probably an honest mistake, but considering the circumstances...)

Me: "I'm not disconnected from my emotions. I just don't feel anything when I'm here."
(Pause)
Me: "Doc, why are you banging your head against the arm of your chair?"
Doc: "Because I'm not close enough to a wall."

It's official. I can even make therapists crazy.
