Good afternoon! Plugging along at work as usual. Still feeling pretty good overall, but a bit sleepy. No nightmares last night, but still dreaming about people I need to let go, get over, process my relationships with, etc. I'm glad I have another session tomorrow. I had a realization this morning that I really want T to know about.

Have a great day!

I'm not feeling any better from yesterday. I don't have the strength and there is not much more fight in me. I feel like I'm losing.

Well, I'm here to tell you that you are strong, you can do it, and you're not losing. I believe in you!

Hi PCers, can I hang out with you on this sofa? Feeling so low and really struggling to get any studying done at all. Made it to starbucks but have now messed about online for an hour. Need to work out how to enter my data in a way that makes sense... probably should have thought of that when I was designing my questionnaire. Anyway, low and lonely and missing T and the should-be-studying-but-can't-manage-to-study guilt has been building for days and days. Could do with some fun company

Welcome to the couch Improving or a chair in the case of stopdog.

I'm sorry you're not doing well. I've been messing around online all day today. Luckliy I'm medical leave right now so I don't have much do to beyond exercising my knee (which I haven't done yet). IRL I am normally a professional procrastinator when there is something I don't want to do or is hard. One thing that seems to help me is if I don't want to work on something I tell myself I don't have to but at the same time I don't let myself do anything else i.e. just sit there. Usually I get bored enough to force myself to do the work. If however you don't actually want to study and want some fun company, you've come to the right place. The others should be back soon.

Thanks tkdgirl, that made me smile Yes, I can just about see stopdog all the way over there on her Very Separate Chair!

Deciding to join the couch club seems to have done the trick as I've been immersed in my data for an hour now (turns out to be quite interesting after all). I know what you mean about procrastination- it makes me really miserable when I'm not doing what I should be doing, but not doing anything nice either. My latest procrastination plan was to decide that I Absolutely Had To read a book about how doing things in chunks of 15 minutes would solve all my procrastination problems... before I attempted to get round to my 'to do' list. It took me about 2 weeks to read the book, and my procrastination problems remain the same!

Hope your knee is healing well. What are you doing to amuse yourself during your medical leave?

Good Morning everyone! (or afternoon or evening depending on where you are) I woke up feeling slightly better today. Thanks Chopin for the little reminder yesterday that I am strong. I sent T a text since then and she told me she will let me know if anyone cancels today and to hang in there. She didn't say anything else. I deleted my thread I started the other day and haven't read any new ones that others posted. Pretty much not reading here is a self-care thing for right now, but I am sorry for anyone having a tough time and happy for anyone that are having good appointments with their t. I can still come here and hang out on the couch and read what is here because this feels safer right now-nothing is triggering me in here.

How does everyone take their coffee? I have mine with fat free flavored creamer and 2 splenda packets. Whats for breakfast? Maybe some wheat toast with peanut butter on it.
Hugs from:

Oh, Lola..that is so hard to have to do that, but unfortunately sometimes it goes with the territory. Years ago, before I became a full time nanny-I worked in an office and my boss had to lay me off-and she was more upset than me. It gave me time to collect, reflect and figure out my next move.

Today I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to work for. I don't actually have anything to do! I'll figure out something, tho.

I have T again this afternoon at 4:00. I plan to talk a bit more about what I had to go through to get where I am right now, then figure out where to go from here.

TTGB and LC, I hope the day goes well for you both. TKD, hope physio goes well.

Coffee!! I like lots of liquid creamer and four Splenda. When I'm done, it's dessert!
