Nellie- I'm sorry your sad. You can make yourself comfortable here.
Trippin... Come on in whenever you are ready.
Chopin- How was your dinner?

I can't really stay on the couch tonight.. I have to get up very early for work tomorrow. Blah. At least I had yesterday and today when the weather was beautiful.

Trippin.. You can sit whereever you want. Sometimes we bring our own seating. See the rocking recliner chair? That one is mine. You can sit there if you get tired of sitting on the floor.

Nellie, hope your child gets well quickly.

No couch for me today. I have to be in work by 8am. Not done till 5 then I'm busy tonight. Although I may be able to come sit for a few minutes at lunch time. It all depends on if the children I look after take a nap.

Well my 6 year old recovered miraculously quickly this morning but we did have a little sleep on the couch this morning which was lovely and well needed. He's definately back to school tomorrow

Got T tomorrow and after a 2 week break I'm doing a great job of telling myself I don't want to go back

Hugs to everyone, that's all I can offer, got no treats to eat, I'm on a bit of a health kick.

I have just given a three-hour lecture. About halfway through I thought I was about to have a panic attack. So I finished the sentence I was speaking, took a sip of water, looked at the pleasant-faced student at the front row and said "OK, I'll talk about this next slide as well and then we'll take a break", moved on to the next slide, and talked about it. After the break I was back on track. I think I got away with it without anybody noticing that anything was wrong. Is it totally weird to be a little proud of this? Oh, and is there room on the couch? I need to sink into something soft
Thanks for this!

Good for you Apteryx, I would be feeling really proud of myself if I was you.

I'd be very proud of myself if I were you. Being able to hide a panic attack from a group of people you are teaching is hard and I don't know if I could do it!

I taught protective interventions today to three people. I got through it fine, but it was way more stressful than CPR/First Aid yesterday! I'm tired now (but the class is physical in nature). I also woke up every hour on the hour last night. It'll be nice to sleep in my own bed tonight!

Ugh I know the feeling. I have been sleeping erratically for the last couple of week. I ended up having a nap this afternoon from exhaustion, which now messed up my sleeping even more. If you find a good fix let me know.

I was traveling...in North Carolina. That's why Tennessee threw me. I'm traveling again tomorrow but only 1.5 away; day trip for a meeting. Then I have T at 4pm. I feel completely unprepared...and I'm just fine with that!

Sounds like you're actually having a good time...lol! Hurry back to the couch, LC!

LC- I hope you are able to have a good time! Chopin- it seems you drive significant distances reguarly? Does the actual driving make you tired? I know for me- after about 45 minutes my leg starts to hurt, I get antsy, bored, and then tired. Even with fun music on.

Only a half day work for me-from 12-5. Yay!

For work, I have to drive to our other office 3.5 hrs away every other week. The driving definitely makes me tired. So far, music and thinking have kept me entertained. Over time, who knows? I was supposed to drive this morning to a meeting 1.5 hours away, but I completely overslept my alarm. I called my boss and said, "Please don't kill me!" but he was understanding. I have a bad headache, so I can take some meds and work from home.
