There's an introvert thread, and it's attracting a lot of posts. But I wonder if there are extroverts here as well?

I'm an extrovert. I've always wondered if it's really genuine, though --- or some learned response. Like, I have issues with childhood abuse and a rejection complex and I wonder if I go out of my way to be nice to people just so they will like me.

But going back to topic, I talk to everyone. I never meet a stranger. I've always been that way, really outgoing.

I am quite shy. But as a teacher i am outgoing.
And depending on which alter we are switching to we can change quite rapidly from intro to extro. The smaller kids are shy. A couple of the teens are very outgoing.

a raging extrovert LOL ... even worse when i'm manic (though it's hard to imagine me being much more outgoing)... it's weird, there's kind of a dichotomy to my personality... there are times when i'm incredibly shy... which most people find hard to believe.. but yeah, when i'm not shy, i'm a raging extrovert one extreme or the other... imagine that?

I voted introvert, but it seems in the last year or so I am moving towards being more of a extrovert

I go both ways depending on the situation. I can turn it on for work, but dating makes me cringe

I'm a mild extrovert, but I have social phobia, so most people think I'm an introvert. But in truth I'm an extrovert.

I am both. It truly depends on my mood. At heart, I think that I'm an extrovert, but I become an introvert once the depression takes over and sometimes I just need to be alone, even for a couple of days--can't be around people all the time.

I'm an introvert but have learnt to put on a very convincing extrovert act. Lots of people don't believe I'm actually quite shy and don't have any confidence in myself.

i think when it comes to concealing our mental issues & putting up an outward front for everyone to see so that we can function in conjuction with society, most of us have been schooled as actors and actresses all our lives..

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
