This can be a place to just drop by... Ask a question, chat, find a friend..etc. come one come all. Or just read, I was a lurker too.. It takes time, no one bites! Although most people here are or have had therapy their are lots of people who don't , this is a space for healing and support. Grab a snack stay awhile!

This thread can be jacked, I actually encourage it.. Thanks squiggles

Ok where are you at this very moment?

I m in my garage watching tv, smoking.... I know it's bad for me... playing on my iPad. The garage door is open so I can see my neighbors washing their car... And the other set fighting today ... Fighting the urge not to email T , just to see if he would respond , but definitely grist for the mill. My other half has a headache and is lying down reading. I wonder what art therapy is like? Or how to meditate, maybe I'll google.

Is their anybody out there?

Hi! I love all these threads lately. At this very moment I am in my spare room of my condo where my computer is located. Just browsing PC-but I'm signed in-so I guess I am half lurking? Cause I am signed in but not responding much at all. LOL I am listening to my neighbors dog bark with my windows wide open since its about 68 out where I am located. My SO just left for work an hour ago and so it goes- I am home by myself.

PS I love to meditate. A good website with FREE podcast is http://www.meditationoasis.com/
Thanks for this!

Thanks TTGetby, I was afraid that I was all alone... I'm thinking about motivating, if no one wants have a chat about a therapy related issue... , have fun lurking. BTW, guest is still lurking, it's like lurking with a mask and gloves on... kinda creepy... Just jokin, it's not dark yet and they could be garden gloves.... lol

Trst me we are a cohesive group who are very welcoming to all. Anyone.... :flop: lol

I am sitting on my couch trying to process some more stuff. H is at work. I've made some jewelry today, listened to music, and attempted to straighten the house. It's really nice outside, but I have wicked allergies and I can't take all the pollen. Sucks.

Even though it is not on right now, I find television very therapeutic sometimes. I mostly watch dramas like House, NCIS, Hawaii 5-0, Once Upon a Time, Burn Notice, Leverage, Person of Interest, and Lost Girl, but I also like funny shows such as GCB, Two and a Half Men (w/Charlie Sheen), The Big Bang Theory, Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, and Archer.

I just woke up from a nap. I love afternoon naps. I had a busy weekend and didn't get much sleep last night.

After 40 years, I finally told my sister about my CSA last night and it was a little difficult to sleep after that. I guess I have something to talk to T about tomorrow.

Ahhh...I love Big Bank Theory and the Two and a Half Men reruns with Charlie Sheen. Dr. House.... one word for him. YUM!

I got home from work. Was on my feet all day and I am exhausted. I should be starting dinner - I came online to find the recipe I want to use and somehow ended up on PC instead.

I have a sinus infection and am lounging on my son's bed watching my kids play a game on the Xbox. Earlier today, while I was waiting my turn at the Minute Clinic, I saved a woman from drowning in her own vomit today during a seizure. The nurse at the clinic had never "handled" a seizure before, and was so nervous her hands were shaking violently and she didn't think to keep the seizing person on her side. After the ambulance came, the nurse kept thanking me for helping and for staying so calm and handling things. So, that was exciting.

I'm stressing about therapy on Tuesday. I really don't want to talk about the stupid story I sent him. It doesn't matter anyway and I cannot imagine what I was thinking sending that to him. It wasn't important and I have no idea why it was giving me nightmares.

OMG MKAC you are a hero! You literally saved a life!

I have been replacing the original beige plastic buttons on a crappy trenchcoat with black buttons and belt fasteners and making other minor design alterations to it. I love sewing.

Sipping coffee with my dog laying across my lap and my laptop resting on the arm of the couch. H and son are getting ready to leave for work soon. I am fretting about what to say to T next time I see him. Toying with the idea of quitting again and feeling a little lost.

Gawd, I love coffee. Dog on lap, coffee in hand, it's all good, right? I'm just dreading digging the car out from all the snow we got yesterday. Happy Monday.

Ooh snow, I'm pleased we don't have any of that. The sun is out and I've been doing some watercolour painting. Fairly pleased with the results too.

Sitting at my boss' desk cursing him because I don't have an office or a computer. He's working at our other office. Sipping my Cherry Coke (I'm addicted to soda) and trying to get some numbers together for the DOL related to my clients.

I think I'm gonna call my boss this afternoon and see if I can go laptop shopping.

I just got home from work. My days are normally 10 hours long, but today I got done early. Bonus!. So I only worked from 8-12:45. I am a nanny by the way. For this family, I take care of 3 year old twins! Normally don't need to hit the gym after a work day, I can tell ya that!

This thread sounds like the perfect time for me to jump back in. I was here previously, just took a break. Took a break from therapy as well and now I am back at that as well.

As for today, t appt, went well. Now I am cleaning before I have to be at work. Work is what saves me. I can go there a be a different person.

And a side note, I adopted a dog, five year old female cavalier, she is sooo cute... gives me a reason to get up each day.
