ha ha....you guys crack me up.

I am back in paradise, gawd the Asian market in the city was WILD! I got lost in the tofu section.

We kind of have a DIL rule, if one of my sweeties is on my lap I never move. I have never been a cat person...the whole litter box thing grosses me out more than furballs! I don't know why, it certainly isn't worse than scooping the poop in the yard. I am a lover of all little creatures though, and have been known to sit in the hammock snuggling the neighbor's tabby. Aren't pets way better than people?? (Your little darling is beautiful Apt!)

For those of you who sleep until noon...HOW?? I am up with the sun, every morning 5 AM. I sleep until 6 during daylight savings in the Spring though.

Ahh that is too cute! Unfortunately my cat is the head of the house so I don't get to make the rules. Guess I'll be sick with CIL until she decides otherwise lol

As for sleeping until noon,I have no idea how I do it. Never been able to before, even as teenager I got up by 9 or 10. Now I sleep late and it drives me nuts but I have nothing else to do with my day

Aww dangitall! I was just snuggled up on the couch watching Madagascar 2 with my honey and bein in a good headspace when my friend called and asked about therapists (if I'd found a new one yet) and I explained no, that Backup T was okay but he wasn't like ex-T at all.

Ex-T was so soft and gentle with me. He made me trust him and I would tell him things that I didn't tell anyone. Backup T is more like a beer-drinking buddy. He's not soft spoken. He's kinda loud. He plays golf and likes hockey and basketball. He's smart but he's not someone who can take you back to the deserted places in your memories where pain resides. I said I miss ex-T so much.

My friend said he understood and he remembered that once I told him about my ex-T noticing something kinda creepy from my childhood that I never noticed before and that's that after my brother was killed my parents emptied out his room but never changed it or did anything with it, just left it empty like that for 20 years and never went in it again (but I used to play there a lot).

I said yeah, that's the kind of thing I would talk about with him. I could never talk about that with Backup T.

Now I'm all sad and missing ex-T again. Then my friend said "I don't want you to take this the wrong way but the way you talk about him... You sound like someone suffering a break-up".

I said yeah I know.

That's not news to me but does it sound odd to others? Is that bad? Should I not be this sad over him? I guess he was saying that I shouldn't go back to see him again, even if he lets me (last night I emailed for the first time in almost two weeks and just checked; maybe he'll say yes). I don't care. If he lets me come back I will in a heartbeat. I don't care if it's bad for me. I love him. I miss him terribly.

I'll use the coping skills: I accept where I am right now. I accept the sadness and the loss. I'm comfortable with being sad about this.

Break ups can be hard regardless of the nature of the relationship that's over. One if my most devastating was with the end of a long friendship.

*******it google can be creepy at the most inopportune moments!

I just did a google search for "erotic versus eroticized transference" and among the google ads on the side of the results page is an ad for my ex-T!

Good point

How very annoying.

Tonight I am the one getting my drunk on. Tough week and a funeral to attend tomorrow, my sister showed up last night with her two kids and stayed most of today. And I just checked my email to find that the library says I didn't return two DVDs that I know I did return. That email was the final straw on my patience. I am going to go check the shelves on Monday and I am fairly certain I will find them sitting on the shelf.
Sorry bit of a rant...I'm a few glasses in.

Ahh that means you can be in charge of entertaining me.
I'm booooooooooooooooored
Stuck in a funk mood. Can't really stop being blah.

Texas would be a very long drive from Ontario and there's something about the humidity and my thick curly hair that I don't think would end well.

No worries. I am in my pjs. And once I am in my pjs I don't venture back out even on foot. And I've switched to chocolate now. My eating is bascially out of control tonight :-(

Lola...do you know when she's going to give birth? Not that the information is useful or anything because...

I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' no babies!!!!!

...but I do wish you luck with it! I bet they will be really cute. Do you have a vet who could help you with this?

Speaking of dogs, H and I are going to be dog sitting this week; we have to go to our friends' house and let their dogs (3 big, ugly shar-peis ) out 3x/day and feed them 2x/day. I'm going tomorrow because I'm off work and H will go Mon, Tues, and Fri because he's off work. I don't know what we're going to do Wed and Thurs because we both work. Maybe I can finagle working from home. I don't want to make a midday 34-mile round trip from work just to let their dogs out. Sat will be easy...we're both off work and our friends come back next Sun.

I'm talkative right now...so I'm going to keep on talking. Feel free to tell me to STFU. I talked to my mom today; she is a different person on Prozac. We can have pleasant conversations now that aren't tainted with paranoia about the neighbors or negative about my dad. Just stuff. Where was this woman 25 years ago (did they have Prozac 25 years ago)?! June is a month of birthdays for us and she called to see when we wanted to go out to eat next weekend to celebrate.

My granny (dad's mom) started the tradition of going out to celebrate her's (June 8), mine (June 14), Dad's (June 16), and H's (July 4) birthdays...as well as Father's day...about 10 years ago. She always ordered a cup of coffee with her meal. After she died 3 years ago, Mom, Dad, H, and I continued the tradition. However, we still ask for a table for 5. We order a cup of coffee and place it where she would have sat. Once the meal is over, Mom drinks it. When the waiters/waitresses realize what we're doing, they're always very respectful.

Okay...that's all for now. I'll go ahead and say good morning to those (like Wikid) who are up at the crack of dawn, because that's just a couple of hours away here on the east coast. Y'all probably won't see me again until after noon.
