When T's dont answer your emails, and they usually do....
torture? What am I supposed to do now?!

There are a lot of reasons that your therapist might not have responded, I'm sure you already knew that and knowing doesn't help much.

This is my T rupture first anniversary, when I received an email from T, TOTALLY intended for SOMEONE ELSE, that when I read it, I wanted to pluck my eyes out. Last night, history repeated itself on text. But this time I had my PC peeps with me! So may I say, WATCH OUT WHAT YOU WISH FOR, YOU MIGHT GET IT! And then we'll help you get thru it
 p.s. T said he's getting new eyeglasses - he needs them!

May I ask a question? I'm a little embarrassed, but what exactly is a rupture in the therapeutic sense?

Once in awhile my T will not answer an email. I usually wait a couple of days then send him a reminder - "Just checking - did you have a chance to read my email from..." and he usually then gets back to me right away. I have an email waiting on him right now - yes it's frustrating, but he already answered one this week and he usually has a one/week limit so I expect we'll discuss it in session on Friday. I'm tempted to throw a hissy over the no response, but on the other hand, we're talking termination so I have a feeling he's letting me handle this non-crisis issue on my own, which is as it should be.
