Oooo, hot tub. I'm in. My neck and shoulders are really sore tonight.

I'll have to bring the giant kitten, though. He doesn't seem to let me go anywhere by myself. I can't even go to the bathroom alone. It's okay, though. He's cute as the dickens and very friendly.

I'm just really happy right now, feeling fine, wish I had a nice patio outside for the smokers including cigars.... Anyone else? Perhaps a makeover of the space is all we needed , new perspective... Takin that one straight to T...

ACtually, I am just outside the couch room-on the other side of the door. Sometimes we stand at the doorway and talk to those in the other room (those on the couch to me, me to those on the couch).

Critterlady - does your cat like hot tubs?

How many are planning to be in the hot tub at the same time? I have just creeped myself out.

I picture the other side of the couch room to be a slightly more sociable version of the diogenes club:

"There are many men in London, you know, who, some from shyness, some from misanthropy, have no wish for the company of their fellows. Yet they are not averse to comfortable chairs and the latest periodicals. It is for the convenience of these that the Diogenes Club was started, and it now contains the most unsociable and unclubable men in town. No member is permitted to take the least notice of any other one. Save in the Stranger's Room, no talking is, under any circumstances, allowed, and three offences, if brought to the notice of the committee, render the talker liable to expulsion. My brother was one of the founders, and I have myself found it a very soothing atmosphere."

— The Greek Interpreter

To wit: brief periods up to 25 minutes of talking in hushed tones would be allowed on days with U s in them, one could have a bridge game if the players focused on the game, and it would take 4 offenses for expulsion instead of 3.

I realize this sounds a bit too loose, but changing times and all.
Thanks for this!

Come to think of it, I don't think he's ever seen one. But he's always game to try new things. He's a 7 month old kitten - nothing fazes him!

I had a cat who liked to shower with me. He did not like the water falling on him but he liked playing in the water as it ran down the drain - so he would stay right next to the drain where the water did not hit him square on. It did shock guests if I forgot to warn them to expect him.

Why do lesbians have pool tables? Because softball fields won't fit in their basements.
Thanks for this!

oh wow y'all've been busy in here! love the hot tubs!

I got so caught up in playing my new online diplomacy game I almost forgot I had a date tonight! My plans for invading Greece ran into a slight set back due to me not understanding a detail about how the game works but I still plan a full on assault on the next move.

The date was nice. We went out for ice cream and a walk. I wore a new dress which I think looks very pretty. I'm generally in a very good mood and coming in here and seeing you all chatting happily just makes it that much better.

Sure why not? I was getting a little worried that they'd get too full too.
We may have to change our next thread to "welcome to the tubs! People of PC psychotherapy"

And may i just add that drinking a latte at 9:30 pm was not the smartest of my ideas.....

Hello Everyone. I'll be working today so I don't think I'll get to come sit on the couch for very long. Enjoy the day. When I get home from work I plan to soak in the hot top that Lola put in.

Is that how you know? Cause I like pool tables and softball, so maybe I am playing for the wrong team.

CE...those pillows are crazy. We can use them for hypnosis when folks get stirred up.

I am off to tell my pdoc of 6 yrs that I have been tapering off my medications since april without his approval. I know him well enough to know he isn't going to like it. Since I am so bad at talking I wonder if I am going to get there, freeze and not even tell him. wish me luck.
