food...what is it about us crazies and food talk? I do miss fish, especially the fresh fish we used to buy off the fisherman at the docks. Can't do that anymore, the government wants a piece of everything.

The only thing I wanted to say about the agave is read the label. It should be raw, if not then it is actually not much better then high fructose corn syrup. In actuality it does have the same amount of calories as sugar and hfcs...but it's sweeter, so you use less. I just use it because it's vegan, not a gmo, and doesn't screw up the environment on production. When I want low cal I go with stevia.

It's not raw. I asked H if he wanted to buy the raw and he said no. He figured it would have a stronger taste (for a big man, he is picky), so he would try the light first to see if he could stand the taste.

My ex-GF used stevia after her gastric bypass surgery.

Bah. I thought I'd be good and get something to eat, not least because H would be upset if he found out that I hadn't. So I got myself a sandwich with tuna, and it's disgusting - there's some weird melted cheese on it as well as the tuna. Hmph.

Oh well, food is better than no food.

Granite, its okay to feel what you feel, but just keep in mind that feelings tend to lie to us. A lot.

I just thought I would jump on the healthy food bandwagon and eat a turkey sandwich. I guess since that sandwich was accompanied by a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos-it does not count.

I'm sorry, Trin. I don't really know much about Sephora. You are interesting to me, but I didn't really know what to say. I'm a cheap bastard. My makeup comes from Target.

Ok, I'll take all the cheese ones, just throw me a cool ranch every now and then. The ones I REALLLLLLLY loved are the sour cream & onion ones.

My H used to do that to me granite. Not tell me, but complain to other people. So, I just started being very direct with him. And then he started telling me when he thought I was being a type a way. But I'm probably too direct.

And yes, I concur with PButton. I never seen you be anything but great and wonderful, at least on here.

I have been watching this Beverly Hills Nanny show that I DVR'd. I complain about my nanny job but I should be happy I am not in Beverly Hills working for these people. Sheesh! This one mom asked her manny to rub her feet. Yeah, right! Not in a 100 years!

(((granite))) who's talking crap about you? I am gonna kick some butt.

Story... went to A&W with H and son(25) because I was bored. It was crowded, and son was standing holding his root beer float, while this girl (maybe about 11ish) was kind of acting up, not bad, but more than an 11 yr old should. She collided into son spilling his float all over him and causing him to drop the glass which shattered when it hit the cement. The girl's father yelled her name really loud and fierce. Son piped up "no, no, my fault totally, I knocked into her". Father shut right up, girl looked up at son with puppy dog eyes. I told son that she would be telling all her girlfriends about him. I thought that was so kind. He is so much like his dad.

Then yes, you talk like the people in the hahpah commercials!

I don't know that H's and my accents sound like anyone on TV. Kinda generic Southern, but not super strong.

Remember a couple of months ago when someone posted a thread about our T's celebrity doppelganger? MKAC's T is Jon Stewart.

I figured out the other day almost exactly who my T looks like. Or rather, what she'll probably look like in 20 years.

Dame Judi Dench as M in Casino Royale.

T's lips are thinner, her ears are "attached", and her eyebrows are not as severely arched; however, the hairstyle is almost perfect (T has a little more sticking out at the bottom and hers is dyed blonde), their noses are almost identical, their eyes are very similar, and the face shape is spot on.
