Thank you Lucy. Just taking it one day at a time. The situation can't get any worse so when things hit the bottom they have no place to go but up.

Lola-I'm glad you posted. Was thinking about you today.

Awww did I miss out on the retail work rant? because I work so I just have to say, is if one more person comes along while I'm talking to a coworker, or shuffling magazines to pass time the time and says "awww I bet you were just waiting for me/here, you looked bored so I've brought you something to do (too enthusiastically)" imma gonna eat my hair!!!!
Pretend you made slightly above minimum wage and ask yourself these questions :
Do YOU like it when the phone rings while you're cruising Facebook, or when you are drinking you're coffee (PS I'm not even allowed coffee on the floor because it might upset the nostrils of our little snowflakes) and someone hands you something that needs to be done right away? Do you say "oh yippee! Thank you soooo much, I would so much rather do your expense report that should have been handed in last week than socialize". Well do ya punk?
And each and every time I'm made to smile and say "oh hahaha you are soooo funny". I'm making a petition to say the customer is NOT always right. Because I spends more hours I this building than you do.

This has been a public service announcement brought to you by Silent_Unions (ie me). Please note, no customers were harmed in the making of this announcement .

I better get to bed, the cranky is setting in and I start earlier tomorrow.

:X (this want directed at anyone here, I just needed to vent)

Since we're showing stuff off, here's my painting. Obviously, I need to put some more leaves on the branches and put more detail in the leaves themselves. I may put more branches in once I see these leaves completed.

Nope.

Can you think of an equivalent expression that doesn't refer to dogs?

Very nice.
Once again, the trees are especially interesting. They are more stylised than in your sketch. There is something slightly Escher about them.

"It shouldn't happen to a cockroach"?! I really can't think of anything else.

I think the way I shaded them makes them look Escher-ish. This is the first painting I've done since high school. I'm enjoying it because I see it as representative of the place I am in life (a butterfly set free from the cocoon). Whether or not it's really any good or not is secondary!

Morning group! Guess I am the first one in the room this morning, woohoo going to make the coffee and tea.

I don't know if I can take another night/morning like this!

My psychiatrist took me off seroquel well I was using my wife's meds, as she gets her scripts for $2.

I was put on Lyrica 75mg on Friday and Saturday and well this morning I have woken up both times after 1pm and fell back to sleep only to wake up at 4am or 3:40am. I am wide awake and was told I only take one pill at dinner time.

The first day I took it an hour afterwards I had a headache and felt like tossing dinner, I had to lay down for 20 minutes. Last night about 15 minutes before going to bed and I had been writing and downloading someone I again got a headache and felt like I was going to be physically sick.

I'm going to call my ACT worker on Monday morning, she is an RN. Thinking they can have back the unused Lyrica as they are giving me samples of my meds to save me money. I am on long term disability through my insurance from work, but I still have to pay my 20 percent on any meds. Which I can't afford since I have physical problems mainly type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.

Just want to sleep through the night, the seroquel at times was a hit or miss kind of thing but most of the time I could sleep.

Afternoon all. Today, the newspapers and the Internets are full of memorial articles about the terrorist attacks in Norway last year. Brings it all back.

And in a couple of hours I'll be interviewing a fairly well-known sf writer called Lois McMaster Bujold, on stage in front of 500 people. I'm terrified.

I obviously missed several pages/posts. I realize that I am quite new to the group here and may be out of place even saying anything.

Venturing forth anyway! Not every post will be answered, even the volume has my head spinning. I seem to only get some email about new posts, which is a pain in the behind! Because I am missing things and honestly when I do come to the thread, do I really want to read/scroll through 5 pages? NO. So if I have received a reply to a post and I don't respond forgive me as I didn't see it. I have posted a few things and thought OH it was not responded too but realize I may have missed it with again the volume....

I'm just sayin. Hope people do not decide to leave as you all seem like wonderful caring people.

Good morning everyone!
Hi Lone, sorry you're still not sleeping.
Sally the wrap is very nice
Chopin, I like your butterfly.
Apt, that is so neat. My son likes her work. I hope it goes well, and that your anxiety lessens as you start to speak.
That terrorist incident was horrible, hard to believe it's been a year.
Lola...glad you are ok, sorry things are so rough

Everyone else:

Lone...whenever I see your name I am reminded about the "Lone Wolf" jacket that Lenny wore on Laverne and Shirley...a 70's sitcom.

Thanks Wiki. I actually slept well and woke up with new energy. H and I decided we are going to sue for wrongful termination and go after the union as well. He talked to state rep yesterday who said we may have something against the union because after paying union dues after almost 10 years it is their duty to fight for us and they should have never decided NOT to go to arbitration. It will be a long hard fight-but we are suing them both.

Good morning all, I am officially going to break my funk today by getting busy... Clean , mow, weed eat , laundry etc.

Trigger.... Death of pet

I'm afraid my oldest dog is dying, im taking her to the vet this week. We have had her 14 years and i've never had a pet die. As children my parents let us have pets long enough to get attached and then they have them away... The reason I own a zoo now...lol
Pray for my shitzu Jewels and a peaceful passing.
