Granite - I thought you ate kale chips. You can chipify any green - spinach, turnip greens etc.

H's union decided not to take his termination to arbitration. We can't catch a break and I give up. Offically give up.

I love that! She's awesome. Reminds me of last Easter when my mom made chicken lo mein for lunch and when I took my share, I picked all the chicken out, and gave it to my (non-veggie) husband, not wanting to make a fuss or have her make a separate dish for me (I am not super strict, obviously, just generally repulsed by the idea of eating an animal but willing to accommodate). She was like what, you don't eat chicken? Does that make you a vegan now? Sigh, mom.

Granite, I would fail at veganism as well. I have mad respect for people who can stick to it. I am too in love with cheese.

I couldn't even be a vegetarian. Apparently I like to eat petroleum-based food too much.

TTGB - I am so sorry to hear the union let you all down.

I've been to the Moomin museum in Tampere today. Seriously cool. Moomins are not just kiddie stuff in Sweden and Finland - the English translations turned them all into children's books - and this was definitely a museum that held appeal for children and grownups both. Excellent stuff.

Maybe at some point I'll try writing about how Moomin books can help fight depression.
I like Moominpapa's Memoirs.

I'm out of ADD mode, but still in a weird mood. I'm actually rather enjoying it. A coworker at our satellite office sent me an email today saying I was nutty.

Made me think of peanut butter. Or that Planters men's health mix commercial.
