The trip has been great except I haven't slept well. I head home today after 3-4 hours of work.

I'll have to drive to teavana on my next trip! Maybe I'll have some $$$ by then. This paycheck was tight!

I have a new area rug in the family room, and it is making me so sick. I keep putting it back out on the deck. I should have spent the extra $$ and gotten one without toxic dyes and adhesives. Ick. #wikigripenumber999999999999999

Hello everyone.

Hugs to you Chopin. Hello Granite, Lola, Wiki, Stopdog, Sconnie, Can'tExplain, LoneWofie, MKAC, Towanda, Silent, and everyone else who happens upon the couch today.

Just stopping in to say Hi. I am off work today. Woohoo for me. Went to the pet store to get new dog food. I am switching from Beneful to Natures Recipe. I hope this food is better for them. I followed the no corn, wheat or soy rule when I choose this dog food. Beneful was pure crap. Anyway, heading to the supermarket maybe to cook something for dinner. If you hear fire alarms...YUP...that's coming from my house.

Lone,
Yes Davids tea is a Canadian franchise so I berry it's the same thing. They let you smell the tea unlike teaopia. They are also way friendlier than the teaopia people by my house. And the? They usually have two tea of the days you can sample free or buy a cup before you invest in the tin of a type.

Stop,
There's only like one I actually add agave too Burr I think it has less taste than honey.

you know hanksta...I actually used to like cool whip. Vegan whips are really gross. I had this stuff called Hip Whip once...YUCK! Somebody told me that you can whip almond milk, but I haven't tried it yet.

I didn't know cool whip had any actual dairy product in it. I thought it was just petroleum products!

I could really use a nap. I had a migraine last night, so took my meds for that. And like a dolt, I also took Ambien. I slept well, that's for sure. Just not long enough.

How can there be a tea shop selling loose leaf tea that doesn't let you smell the tea before buying? That sounds like a clothing shop that won't let you try on the clothes!

A recent, very nice development here is that some specialised tea shops (there are four, I think, in my home town) now sell brewed tea from loose-leaf as well, to take away. (Well, of course regular cafés also sell tea, but they usually only have a few different kinds of tea bag - and because people's tastes are peculiar, they tend to favour fruit and flower type teas rather than lovely subtle pure blacks and greens.)

All this talk about tea had my thirsty. It is also freezing in the office I am using today. Best I can do at work is Tazo Passion...it's warm and tasty.

yeah I don't do whipped cream, it's my brother's food. i'm more a meringue person. he's coconut cream, i'm lemon meringue. he's cherry pie, i'm blueberry. really, we refuse to share ANYTHING. it's more like, once he claims something, I better pick something else cos otherwise he gives me this LOOK - of either, you're just copying me, or you're trying to take it away from me. And if I DON'T like it to begin with and don't want anything at all, then i'm just plain insulting him. It's like, well then pardon me for living. That's why I like playing with you guys. I'm ALLOWED to be here.

TTGB, can you give yourself the rest of today off from trying to stand up and fight? If you can't, you can't right now. I'm sure you will get back up, but maybe you do need a rest from having to feel that you need to be strong.

Not sure if this is helpful. I wish there was something I could do.

Attention Attention :

Is this thing on? tap tap

Fellow Couch Potatoes ..... I ask you this.... Is it me, or has the couch taken a somber feel as of late? Where are the happy Vegans telling me to eat oats or drink some Tea I cant pronounce? Or the various pet owners sharing stories of their 4 legged friends. Fellow slackers who play and work simultaneously. My shoulders to cry on... or ears to bend when I'm ranting??? The jokes, the humor, the laughter... I realize people have gotten their feelers hurt for one reason or another, I have too. But upon reflection turns out its just me taking things wrong or being too sensitive....I only know this because I ask whomever I think I offended or the offender. If I need some love, I just ask. If I imagine a beef with someone, I just ask them. I hate that the word "clique" was even brought to the couch, I feel a camaraderie with all of you and never feel judged by anyone or left out. Sure some stuff I say gets ran over in the fury, but that's the nature of the couch.

Sometimes I just sit back and watch the cool whip and agave nectar start flying!

What I do find here and miss is people to talk to , about anything or nothing , when I don't want to be alone. I miss the humor too...laughter is the best medicine.

Okay-well let's play a game that we played on couch #1 and see if we can get that back.

Where are you right now?

I'm on my couch in my living room watching a rerun of friends while the dogs sleep.

Next?
