At my desk, kind of half working on drafting a Docketing Statement. Thinking about giving up and going home where I have paperwork to work on an appeal. God, I love being self employed.

She is like the bad witch from the wizard of oz... dressed as the good witch... who smiles at you while internally calling you names and I'm pretty sure she hurts a vodoo doll (that was made with a lock of my hair ) with pins and fire, when I'm not looking. ie. the woman in the office who knows everything and is way better then everyone else, and if you don't believe me just ask her!

thanks for asking, strangely I feel better.

I need to make something healthy and inexpensive for dinner. I have an onion, and a cauliflower in the fridge. I have pasta and rice. Oh, I have kimchee! But it's this weird radish one that I'm not super fond of. I am out of tofu. Any ideas, guys? I have cheese also.

I'm trying to limit the cheese sauce kinds of things I make. Hubby and I are both trying to lose weight and he's having an issue with his blood pressure and cholesterol.

I do have milk. And we have a lot of fresh peaches. I was thinking of a peach custard for dessert.

Hey, just going to sit on the couch and avoid doing T hw and emailing her to book the appointment for this week. Because common advice is NOT to email the T right? Shall I get a glass of w(h)ine () to cement the advice? Also, pens, paper and email are all banned from the couch right? Riiight??

granite, custard is super easy!
<li class="ingredient">2 cups whole milk <li class="ingredient">2 eggs
<li class="ingredient">1/3 cup sugar <li class="ingredient">1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Whisk up the eggs, sugar and vanilla. Heat the milk to a simmer, and then slowly whisk in egg mixture. I chop up some peach and put it on the bottom of a baking dish of some kind and then pour the egg/milk mix on top. Bake for about 30 minutes in a fairly cool oven (300 ish). If you want a creamier texture, you set the baking dish into a water bath in the oven.
Thanks for this!

In my study (which is a fancy name for the tiny room in our house where my desk is - it's my room and I like it). H is in the living room, learning the rules to a board game we bought the other day. He has one cat on his lap, and the other one's perched next to me. It's almost midnight.... so if I'd waited ten minutes I could have responded "I am in the future!"

Just do pasta tossed with a little butter and that shakey cheese stuff in a can and call it a day. That's what I would do.

What about chopping up the cauliflower and onion, tossing it in oil, salt, and some herbs (I like curry spices) and serving it mixed into the cooked rice? Even a grating of cheese on top of that concoction works, except I am actually vegan so I have to disapprove a bit
