Feels like it's going to be another bad day for me. I want to...well, you know all that. I've said it a gazillion times. It feels as if I'm in quicksand with nothing to hold on to and every move I make just plunges me deeper.

Got little to no sleep last night. I am very stressed out about going away next week, terminating with current t, my pissed off mother and some bad health news for my daughter. It is easier for me, because I know it's situational and I can get to the other side. I feel for those of you just suffering thru with no light ahead.

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter - and you did not need this on top of everything else! I hope she'll be ok.

thanks. My daughter (22) has been told that she should never get pregnant. We kind of knew this over the years dealing with her disease, but to have this specialist lay it out concretely like this is hard for her. She is strong though, she will be fine...and I am sure I will have plenty of granddogs.

I have been randomly searching t's in the area, just to get a feel for what's out there. Some of them are so weird. I am not going to do anything until I come back from residential.
This one scares the crap out of me for some reason :
But she is the ONLY therapist within 30 miles that has a website. I live in a TC community.

I am better today.... thank you all. I have too much going on and I don't do chaos well. I'm going to lay low for awhile and regroup. Thank you all very much.

Oh there were plenty of lederhosen and durndels. The high school has a German band and the kids wear authentic costumes.

I am off to the beach. There's a chance of rain. I don't care. It's cool out. I don't care. It means the beach will be pretty much deserted and I can sit in peace and quiet as long as I please. I need some time to just sit and do some really deep thinking away from all the projects and work. Taking my journal and a book called "The Orchard."

Good morning. I am feeling much better myself today. I am off work, T got her calendar problem solved, and I had a really good conversation with my H last night. It really helped me see that my relationship with T is okay. I posted the gist of the conversation in my "Whew" thread.

SConnie, I'm envious! I would dearly love to be at the beach today. Or any day, really.

T's vacation doesn't start for 3 weeks and I'm already apprehensive about it. It's going to be hard to go from seeing him twice a week to not seeing him for almost 3. This is what happens when, against my better judgment, I let myself get really attached to him.

Hmm...those descriptions do seem to be a little out there done they. I think all the Arty ideas is what my t wanted to a write but decided against it. That woman sees her plasticine and ours like telling an 8 year old they get an extra recess. Although as far as I know she doesn't have sand....

ok...sorry. I didn't mean to offend anyone either. I just want plain psychotherapy, preferably without stuffies. I am sure this helps a lot of people. When I first went into therapy I ran into a lot of this kind of stuff. One t I chose had a trauma specialty...in about the 3rd session she took a wad of dried sage, lit it on fire, and started chanting. I was all and I just sat there. After she was done she explained that she was an Indian Princess in a former life, and that is how she cleans the room energy. I thought it would have been good to know that ahead of time. Another t tried very hard to get me to seek exorcism in the Catholic church.

These things are fine for others, but I just like vanilla. Sorry.
