Only for people with anxiety issues. I went from that side to the other side. I did have to work on it. There are people who can wait without distess. My husband is really good at it.

Do you understand how and why people develop this issue?

Well idk maybe it could be related to my PTSD or bipolar? The unknown scares me a lot. No I don't.

I think that it is because the person grew up in an insecure environment. In order to feel better, the person tries to control aspects of the environment in order to feel a little security. Doing this makes the future and the unknown very scary because the person's security depends on being able to control things.

When a child grows up in a healthy and secure environment they don't need to do this stuff.

Well that would fit perfectly . I grew up in an insecure environment, and I'm still in one.

Getting into a secure environment, which I know that you are working on, would be the first step in working past this.

Do you do any relaxation exercises or yoga, etc.?

Doing this kind of stuff was really helpful in my recovery. Would you be interested in doing anything like this? I used a simple paperback yoga book with pictures and easy descriptions of the poses. You might be able to find this online now (I did this years ago). Yoga is calming. There is another relaxation exercise that I can describe to you if you are interested. Let me know if you are and I'll explain it. You can also listen to calm music like new age or classical.

So I felt good about the day program, and now I convinced myself that there is no way possible that I could possibly do it. That's it's the scariest thing on the planet and I had to be out of my mind to ever had considered it today. Oh man...I can't do this.
