MKAC-Just do your best to take care of you today. If you wanna go ride your horse then go ride your horse. Just try to drop some pressure off of yourself someway. You will feel much better doing something for you.

Healed, I dozed right after I posted back to you-so its all good.

Hi Granite.

Went and took up all the bathroom rugs and threw cleaner in the toilet and the bathtub. Good enough for one day? Probably not. Sigh. Back again later. This will be my little treat. Ten minutes in the bathroom, quick look in here to see what you are doing. And I will try not call myself pathetic for the fact that I can only face ten minutes at a time.

I agree Lola. Our couch just is not the same when our folks go missing.

Well I have thought of a self opposed silence as well, because of course I want to blame myself for the lack of some of the couchketers, their some truth to this thought. However after much reflection, I decided that I too am human and even though sometimes I go overboard and may say things that upset people. I will have to trust ya'll will tell me if I'm outta line. Having online friends can be tricky as words are what we have and they can be miss interpreted based on the readers own feelings sometimes. I wish that the MIA couchketers would return too. I am who I am, and Im harmless and child like. Love it or leave it.

Lola-I agree,-written communication is so hard and can be misread. so so many different ways there is so much room for that to happen. But you are human. Love it or leave it? I choose LOVE IT!

Nice to see you this morning Lola.. You are right, you are who you are and you are harmless. Fwiw, I have never been offended by anything you said. Though, I may have been part of say some "naughty" words here on the couch

MKAK- I am doing much of the same. Hanging out in the computer in between cleaning.. I don't get much done during the week since I started working.

Okay, that was ten minutes, right? I do not know what is in this cleaner but the fumes are like breathing sandpaper. It works REALLY well though.

Thanks ya'll ... not looking for accolades( although I will take them ) but what i have learned of late , is that everyone is on here because we have issues. Ive read many peoples post where they want to blame themselves for a perceived rift on the couch, and the reality is its their perception most times they have done nothing wrong. Thats why if I feel that way, Ill just ask. Ive got enough REAL guilt in life and sure don't need to add any perceived guilt. LOL I miss everyone who doesn't post here anymore, it hurts my heart to think that I wont interact with some of these people anymore. So I too truly wish for some to come out of hiding. I consider you all friends and truly care about each of you. ill get off my soapbox now.

And mostly, it's not my ****ing mess anyway! Seriously, there was an entire armload of sweaty, disgusting gym clothes on the floor of the bathroom, of which one pair of sweatpants was mine. [originally had a typo there and called them sweatpains. hahaha. thought about leaving it but was afraid it wouldn't make sense to anyone but me.]

He does actually. He does laundry. He doesn't generally clean the bathroom unless I specifically TELL him to do so. We're supposed to be at his mother's at 11, and it's a 45 minute drive to get there because of road construction. Currently, he is still not home (he went to work out with our son and I warned him not to stay too long). It's about 10:30 now, and he'll need to shower when he gets home.

Oh Lola.. you live too far away, or I would come over and HELP you clean anytime

Cleaning is no fun, you are right. I hate it, but I love when my house looks so clean and organized.
