I'm stuck under a very content kitty cat. She looks so happy that I can't bring myself to make her move even though I have to pee.

Now I remember why I haven't called my mother for 4 months (besides reading The Emotionally Absent Mother).

I have been on the phone saying, "Mmm hmm" "Okay" "Great" "Okay" "Mmm hmm" for TWO HOURS SOLID.

Aaaaargh!! I am not phone people.

She did some rare self-disclosure this evening and told me a little more about her own therapy process, which I found very enlightening indeed, and I'm thinking perhaps I'm being a little hasty in my request to talk termination. Although, I'm glad I brought it up, because it needed to be addressed anyway. Another really good session today.

granite, I think it's great that you were able to tell your T why you were so scared with her instead of sitting there without saying a word like you used to! This is progress. I know you have mixed feelings about it, but it is GOOD, and your T can be trusted!! oops, I posted here instead of your thread--wanted you to read it now.

F**K YEAH!!!

We are tenatively planning to hit Carlsbad Caverns and Roswell on our road trip next year. I've never been out west and I want to go. I have dreams about wide open spaces and there are plenty of those out west!! Would also love to hit Montana, but I don't think it's going to be possible on this trip.

If they're talking about the baseball team...they won tonight.

If they're talking about people from America...I'm not stupid, but have encountered quite a few.

If they are talking about people from the northern USA, there are stupid people and intelligent people there too.

IDK??

Ooh yes I don't order from Amazon, though, if I can help it. I shop locally, and ask my local bookshop to order for me if there's anything they don't have in at the moment.
I bought 18 books this weekend

Not far from a respectable businesswoman, yet worn in a way that was rebellious and fun.

Like me, she dresses to please herself - and maybe to shock others, too?
What is a camisole?
And what does it mean to dress "fun"? Fun doesn't seem to be a concept applicable to clothing in my reality, other than statement tshirts and socks.

Black does not go with medium to dark brown.

This woman does not match (ignore the blue jacket...it would go with either the pants OR the shirt, not both). It was actually hard to find a picture of this color combination:

Couch 19
I don't understand why, even having seen the picture. I would have assumed that the blue was the non-matching item of clothing.

As some of you know, I have a 5-kg cat who thinks he is small enough for me to carry him around inside my sweater. (But hey, I do it, so he's clearly right!)
