I didn't know what we were talking about, so seriously thanks lola - I was too tired to go back and look. but my mum was a gambler, which I didn't realize how it pervaded every effing decision - as long as she won, was the only consideration. she would even switch sides to win. I was stoooopid. don't be like me, murray

Thanks Hankster, I've had plenty of the win at all odds stuff as well. My can't-be-ex-soon-enough-father-in-law has always been like this, as is his son. Even though I know they are like this, the stuff that is happening now is on a completely different level and I find it hard to understand how, even when there is financial or other gain, anyone could be so intentionally cruel. Oh well.

We make maple syrup where I work. It is way too easy for me to access. Soooo tasty.

I'm not exactly depressed, but I've got a difficult week coming up and I don't know if I'm strong enough to handle it. Doom, disaster, defeat...

Whew! Been straightening out my clothes; figuring out what fits, what doesn't, what needs to be put away for the winter, taking the winter stuff out, filling up a Goodwill bag.

I've gained 5 pounds in the last 2 months (about 8 pounds since last year) and it shows. About half of my clothes from last year do not fit. Has me rather bummed. Oh well.

Starting a thread is scary.
You risk:
1. Being ignored
2. Being criticised

rainbow_rose, I hope you're feeling better about your session. Did your T email you back? I know how bad it can feel after a bad session. Three weeks is a long time so I hope you can get to make things better before then.
Thanks for this!

Apple desserts are yummy, aren't they? My H and I gave up apple pie for baked apples. They do have sugar, ( and cinnamon) but at least not the crust. Or you can use sugar substitute.

Hello All..

I greet you all in song today: A little Journey never hurt anybody.

Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world She took the midnight train goin' anywhere Just a city boy, born and raised in south DetroitHe took the midnight train goin' anywhere A singer in a smokey room A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlights people, living just to find emotion Hiding, somewhere in the night.

Working hard to get my fill, Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice, Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends It goes on and on and on and on

Don't stop believin' Hold on to the feelin'

That's all I got. Have a goodnight!
