I was being a bit sarcastic as well. I really didn't think that there was any malice in what you wrote. Sorry - I'm a bit off tonight.

This sounds like a question I would ask. Like Sally, I also love maple-flavored anything.

Worse than fat (5'6" 172 lbs), I am horrendously out of shape (I was a jock in HS, remember) and literally physically uncomfortable. Meh.

Ours is Princess Bride. It's actually our go-to movie for all family events, good and bad. It's what we watched the day we got the news that my dad's cancer was terminal. We all piled in bed together and watched. We watched it on Christmas and New Years. We watched it on Easter.

My FOO's Christmas movie of choice is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. H and I prefer Pulp Fiction.

Andre the Giant had a home about twenty minutes from where I live now( near Ellerbe NC) Samuel Beckett used to drive him to school when he was a youngster(they talked about cricket). Way off topic and useless trivia(my specialty). Just thought I would share.

It's easier to get fit than to lose weight. And more important, too. Maybe you could concentrate on that?

You live near Ellerbe? I'm in Leland, near Wilmington.

My brothers and I have Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade practically memorized. It helps that it's on some channel or other every holiday!

True. It's not so much the size, it's the fact that I carry this weight in my stomach and boobs. A true "apple". Apple is the least healthy body shape. I come from a family of apples...both parents and both sets of grandparents.

We all have/had brown hair and blue eyes too. Pretty homozygous family.
