Seriously? That is what that meant? Wow. Never would have guessed that last sentence especially.

The translation of "holla"? It usually works like this:

Lola: Holla
Me: Holla back

Your boss will back you up, no question.

"holla" also means "stop", though that's kinda archaic. It's the meaning I'm most familiar with though, from reading a lot of 16th and 17th century drama texts: "Holla there, sir Jasper!"

It's back to work today. Have a good day everyone. See you all when the kids go to sleep. Here's to hoping I'm greeted with a hug instead of a spit bomb.

Good morning, couch peeps! Hope you all have a great day!

I am feeling kinda cruddy, but not as bad as the last few days, thankfully. I think I'll be able to at least function. I gotta get a shower, get my daughter's friend to the bus stop, take my daughter to my moms (since she's sick), and then get my arse to work!....then after that, I'll stop in to see how my daughter is doing before getting to class. Won't be home til around 9:30 PM tonight.

((( HUGS )))

Morning all.
I am trying light therapy again. But in very short doses. Last year it worked well at the start, but later on I got manic if I used it too long. So, if I am jumping on the couch later doing my impression of Tom Cruise on Oprah, you'll know why....

Off to work I go...

Hello all! Busy weekend, busy week ahead.
Who's got T today?
I thought of a question last night while laying in bed: What's up with T's fingernails?
ok...GO!

I have to get power of attorney tomorrow for my mom's real estate. She is too panicked to do the closing. So off to our friendly lawyer tomorrow. I am thinking she should just sign over power for everything. I can handle her bills and crap for her then. Or maybe it's better to continue letting her sign dozens of checks in longhand while I watch? I don't know. It would be so much easier to do it all online for her.

So my week.... mothers, and lawyers, and doctors, and radiologists....need to find an Indian chief to make it all inclusive.

My "healthy" bit for today:
Exactly two years ago my daughter lost her BFF to Toxic Shock Syndrome. It was a flashback for me, because I lost one of my closest friends to TSS the year after we graduated from high school together. So my bit for today is: be aware. Take your time to visit this site: http://you-are-loved.org/

And make sure that if you use tampons they are 100% organic cotton. Read the label, it could save your life.
