I just read your reply to Chopin, rainbow_rose. I'm sorry about your insurance and I'm sorry your therapy isn't meeting your needs.

I'm also sorry you have a headache!
Thanks for this!

Hey everyone.......It's been a rough day. I am thankful that the day is over - but wish it was Friday night instead of Sunday night. I can't imagine going to work tomorrow feeling this way. *sigh*

My house is a disaster....moreso than usual...and I am too weak and tired to do anything about it.

At least my daughter's asleep now....

As an aside - my ex-H was OCD and cleaned the house incessantly....I kinda miss those days. Now, it's like a tornado rips through my house on a daily basis.

And rainbow rose....I totally hear ya and can empathize about therapy costs. I reached my insurance cap in August - and now all therapy is out of pocket until February...my T and I are supposed to be "working something out", but that conversation has stalled...and the bills are piling.

Considering I'm unemployed (well, working 1 day a week) with unemployment ending in 2 months with no full time job in sight, I really should consider cutting back or stopping therapy. How can I justify spending 1/3 of my unemployment on therapy when I have a mortgage and a daughter to take care of?

Anyway....I'm going to put my troubles aside and hopefully get some decent sleep tonight. That is, unless my daughter has me up throughout the night. *sigh*

Goodnight, folks!

I'm 35 and use a stupid pill container. I have to...I think I just swallowed 12 pills. A 51 year old coworker who went out of town with me for a training saw my meds and asked me if she needed to call the coroner in the morning because she didn't think I'd wake up after all those pills.

You can safely take Benedryl with Allegra. Do you have any of those?

Thanks, Chopin. Maybe I have Benadryl. I used to keep liquid in the house but I don't think I have any now. I may have a Benadryl like pill, not sure. I'm so itchy I don't think I took it, though. I just put in my pills for tomorrow. Thanks for telling me you use one. I only have 3 pills, not counting Tums for calcium, and vitamin D, though.

I actually don't think you can OD on Allegra either. You could probably take another and it not bother you. I take a Zyrtec AND a Zyrtec-D at night. My GP said it's not an overdose. I take a lot of meds.

In the AM...Zyrtec D (allergies), Ocella (birth control), Flonase (allergies), a multi-vitamin, vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Aleve.

In the PM...Zyrtec D, Zyrtec, Singulair (asthma), Neurontin (nerve pain in neck and elbow), Klonopin (anti-anxiety), Zoloft (anti-depressant), Zanaflex (muscle relaxant for neck), Flonase, Advil PM, and vitamin C.

I was right...I take 12 pills at night and 6 in the morning. Geez! Is that a lot for a 35 year old?

Don't. Just don't. I'm not asking why...but you're asking us to tell you not to.

You have radar for emailing/texting T's, don't you? It's actually a good radar considering when most people email their T's in an emotional state, it doesn't end well (including me).

I'm emailing my T tomorrow evening to remind her to bring her Brene Brown book to session (otherwise she wouldn't remember...she told me last week to email her to remind her to email me about scheduling ). However, I solemnly promise not to be inebriated in any way when I send that reminder email.

Do they sense that you're upset or bothered by something?

granite--if I can nOT email this week, so can You. I'm typing funny becasue I just did something so stupid! I have a pill cutter but never use it, I wanted to cut an Allegra in half, I rinsed the pill cutter an wasd dried w/ a papper towel! OWWWWWWWWWW!!!! My finger is cut,H put o nband-aid but it was generic, He put 2 on. I wanted to clean up the kitchen. I thnk it's okay but it hurts.

I took half the Allegra. I wll probably take other half and some tylenol too! Stupid to put my finger on the pill cutter blade to dry it, huh!

I wondre if Zyrtec would work better, Chopin. I tried once and it made me too tired. Yeah a lot of pills but some are allergy. Doesn't count!

Ow! That's no good...but you'll be fine.

I've taken Allegra and Claritin in the past. Zyrtec is good IMO. It doesn't make me sleepy, but very little makes me sleepy. I metabolize meds quickly, so I've added Advil PM not only for the pain component but also to help me sleep.

Don't apologize to us, Granite. We understand. Just don't email T. It's better to have one's wits about oneself when talking to T.

The discussion of meds reminded me I never took my melatonin. Ugh. Not a huge deal, but it does make me sleep better.
