Looooong day at work. Finally home.

granite
Chopin - your camera takes amazing photos.
Wiki - I love the sweet potato Terra chips
Sila - glad you had a good session
Lola - your decorations are so festive and that's a cute haircut
Hi healed, Ike, Ready, Stopdog, CE, Jersey, nightlight

I can tell you I DON'T have the winning ticket. I got out of work too late to buy one and didn't think to buy one yesterday.

Hi couch peeps.

Feeling down.

My current life situation is sinking in a little bit...

...and some therapy stuff from group T last night too....and I'm not liking it.

I see T tomorrow, so that's a good thing. My last individual session was the day before my show, so it'll be nice to catch up with T and get his feedback.

I didn't buy a ticket....The idea of winning the lottery makes me want to vomit. The only things I can think about are:

1. Not winning, which is highly likely - thus setting myself up to feel disappointed.
2. Winning, and having all of the leaches in my life coming out of the woodwork to try to get their grubby, greedy paws on some money.

Makes me SICK, SICK, SICK.....

Sometimes my mind wanders towards those fantasies of "what would I do if I won..."....but then reality smacks me in the face and tells me it's just not worth it to fantasize.

T and I even talked about that once, and he agreed that winning the lottery would not be good for me. Go figure. LOL

Yeah I wouldn't want to win the lottery either... I'd easily give more than 90% of it away to autism awareness programs and ronald mcdonald house, etc. I'd pay off our bills, make sure my mom can live comfortably, and then go back to working cuz my future dream job is a job that i wanna do to help people, not make a lot of money and be rich.

Our tree goes up on Dec 23 - we're hyper traditionalist in that way (and procrastinators).

If I get it all down on paper, it's no longer inside of me, threatening the life it belongs to~

(I'm in a weird mood. Don't mind me~)

It actually wasn't an impulse buy. I've wanted a DSLR camera for 3 years. The prices here in the states have been steadily dwindling, so I researched the deals for Black Friday online, found the best deal, read tons of reviews, then purchased the camera which came with a standard lens, a telephoto lens, a 16 GB SD card, and a bag.

This I don't lament. I tend to lament more when I buy clothes or shoes.

I've been waiting for a DSLR for years too. I was so happy when I was able to take a photography course as an elective for my degree, which meant I could borrow one. Now I'm so comfortable using all the manual settings...I'm missing having a decent camera to use. My previous compact cameras have all been cannon cameras, which have been good but I really don't like my current panasonic.

I finally made up my mind to switch to Nikon...I just need to decide if I should spend the money on myself. As a poor student struggling to afford therapy...I'm guessing the answer is still not right now.

I need new clothes too though, thanks to medication suddenly up-sizing me...lovely! I've been telling myself I can keep fitting everything and that I'll get back to the weight I'm happiest at, no need to spend money I don't have on a whole new wardrobe...but I'm not so sure anymore.
