I see my T every Thursday afternoon. I don't like therapy, so I don't look forward to it. I have been seeing him for 6 weeks. Hopefully it will get better.

I hope it will get better for you! You keep going, so that's a step in the right direction, you're making the effort, so that's a very big positive step!

My countdown is still the same, two weeks and three days. Jesus did I really think I can go so long without seeing my T? Ugh.

I don't have a T but I have been counting down the days to my appointment with my Psychiatrist. I have spent the last 6 weeks undergoing a lot of medical tests and I'm looking for awnswers.

I assume my psychitatric meds must be changed. I'm eager to know how he wishes to do it - cold turkey? Hospital stay? Taper off? This not knowing has been so stressful.

I understand the stress, it must be awful. Hopefully you get a good outcome.

Hang in there and stay strong!!

2 1/2 months or so. If it was up to me never. Guy never listens and just pushes the pills on you! He is the only one in our area that will take you as well.

That is why I wish SSDI would get it in gear, They just sent me another letter saying it would be at least 9 more months to see a judge, I have been waiting 30 months right now! The feds are worthless!

I see her monthly for my individual appointment so it will be early in Jan, I think the 3rd.

She leads the DBT group & the follow on group called Next Step weekly. I have been doing so well & have been so busy that I haven't been going to the Next Step group. I had planned to go Monday but was in the middle of working on my house & by the time I remembered it was long past the group time. I go to the group when I need extra support or just feel like supporting the others. It's a nice group of women & some of us were getting together socially also.

I actually saw my psychologist at the waltz performance my performance dance class did at the towns Community Art center last Friday evening. At my appointment I told her about the performance my class was doing & invited her to come. I was honestly so pleasantly surprised to see her there. She totally enjoyed the evening & reconnected with another lady she hadnt seen in years. Their daughters had been close friends in the local high school. I never had a psychologist who ever supported going to an activity I have been involved. It really made me feel great that she came to watch & enjoyed the evening. She is a very special caring psychologist I am so thankful for having after all the years of impersonal useless care I got when living in So. Calif. love small town life.

Over 3 weeks due to the holidays. I think she's helping me. Looking forward to working with her to help my mental health. She's a licensed social worker. Studied at Penn with cognitive therapy.

hello, i am new and just figuring this site out. i am just new into counseling as well. I consider myself to be the bright, twinkly star on the outside and inside i am like a meteor ready to crash and burn. even though i am new into counseling after what seems like a lifetime ago, i love my therapist and i am excited to see if perhaps i can get better or what the perception of better is. ptsd, depression, ocd. thanks so much. i saw my therapist yesterday. it is quite expensive even with insurance.
